"  Film titles are very important because they set up the expectation of an audience. They are usually the first thing you see. Good titles design stems from an idea rather than flashy or experimental graphics per se. An opening titles sequence generally engages with the big themes of the film and looks at overarching themes and metaphors of the film" . This is a statement from the article First frames: titles in the digital realm that I full heartedly agree with. The things you view on screen for the first couple minutes of a movie can impact what you feel and expect from a movie in several ways. For instance, in the opening for Scream I distinctly remember the title 'Scream' jumping on the screen immediately in a deep red color, then witnessing the title begin to pulsate while there was a screaming person noise in the background.
